Communication Studies
Our two time National Communication Association Rex Mix Program of Excellence Award winning program emphasizes undergraduate courses designed to develop ethical and engaged citizens who are prepared to use appropriate verbal and nonverbal communication skills to effectively create and manage meaning as leaders in their professions, community, and world.
Mass Communication
The Mass Communication Program seeks to educate students not only in the finest traditions of both journalism and broadcasting, but to prepare them for the ever-changing information age. This happens both within and beyond the classroom, developing and applying the creative, aesthetic and technical skills essential to all forms of multimedia communication. Mass Communication–putting theory into practice.
